Beautiful Wedding Favors

Etymology Coasters. What do your (guests’) names mean?

Et·y·mol·o·gy [et-uh-mol-uh-jee].  Etymology is the study of the origins of words. The etymology of a word is its linguistic history.

Update:  Sadly, this venue was destroyed in the Bastrop Fires.  Please keep them in your thoughts as they rebuild.

If what you want is a wedding out in the country, but what you need is a local venue , Angel Mountain mights just fit your needs. Nestled in the woods near Bastrop, but just a short drive from Austin, this venue is ready for your destination-feel event.

The beautiful outdoor pavilion is perfect for sunset weddings, receptions, birthday or anniversary parties. The main house also includes an 1800 sq ft facility house. Located 4 miles from historic downtown Bastrop.

Vendor Profile: Henna Arts

We got the chance to meet Nisha Agrawal of Henna Arts and experience the mehndi (temporary tattoo) process typically used in Ashaadi (a traditional Indian wedding ceremony) and other Hindu events and festivals. OMG if “smell-o-vision” had been invented by now, the aroma alone would sell anyone on this experience!

Nisha [specializes] in intricate ethnic, bridal, contemporary, [and] Arabic design[s].

Nisha provides henna services for a unique flair to all special occasions: weddings, birthdays, showers, mitzvah events, graduation parties, or any special celebration.
